Mushgloom is a type of decorative block found within the Dark Forest. It appears in-game as a group of mushrooms planted on the ground and emanates a block light level of 5, just enough to notice the Mushgloom blocks but not nearly enough to prevent spawning of any mobs. When broken, a Mushgloom block will drop as an item. Placement of Mushglooms differs quite a bit from normal mushrooms. Mushgloom blocks must be placed on a block of either dirt or grass, Mycelium and sufficiently dark blocks of Stone not being valid. Mushglooms will not spread and can be placed independent of the light level, unlike normal mushrooms, which require a light level of less than 13.
