The Minewood Core is a block added by the Twilight Forest mod, that is part of the Miner's Tree. When toggled on (right-clicking), it will pull ore veins out of the ground and place them on the surface up to six blocks away from the core. All vanilla ores (with the exception of Coal Ore) and Liveroots (which are used to create Ironwood Ingots) can be obtained easily this way. During this process, it will replace grass and dirt blocks, thus players are advised to plant the Minewood Tree not directly in their backyard. The places where the ores were previously will be filled up with Stone.
The Minewood Core will only drop Minewood even when broken with a tool enchanted with Silk Touch, so the Miner's Tree Sapling should be planted thoughtfully.
The Ore Magnet functions in a similar way, however it has a limited durability.
Usage[edit]
Minewood Core has no known uses in crafting.
