The Twilight Forest adds many different mobs, which are classified under three different categories: Twilight Forest Creatures, Twilight Forest Enemies and the Twilight Forest Bosses, the name of which currently denotes seven strong boss monsters within the Forest that have extraordinary powers that are greater than that of normal monsters. As such, they are given the title of Boss Monsters. All of these monsters each have their own major Twilight Forest Landmark which is visible on a Magic Map.
In recent versions of the mod there is a planned progression system, and attempts to fight the bosses out of order will be actively blocked by various offensive and defensive measures. In some cases entire biomes within the forest dimension are off limits until you are ready to fight the boss that lives there.
List of Bosses[edit]
- The Naga, which spawns in Naga Courtyards most often located in the regular Twilight Forest biome
- The Twilight Lich, which spawns in Lich Towers which can be found in any biome but are most often found in Dark Forests
- The Minoshroom, which spawns in the second floor of Labyrinths located in Clearings
- The Hydra, which spawns in Hydra Lairs located in Swamps and Fire Swamps

- The Alpha Yeti, which spawns in a Yeti Lair in the snow forest
- The Snow Queen, found in the Aurora Palace on a glacier

It is recommended that you find and conquer a Twilight Knight Stronghold before entering the Dark Tower, although this does not appear to be mandatory.
