The Glass Bottle is a vanilla item made from Glass. It can pick up Water with a right-click without removing the source block unlike buckets, but cannot be filled with lava. It can be put in the bottle slot in a Coke Oven and if the container to the left has Creosote, the bottle will become a Creosote Bottle.
When a Glass Bottle is filled with water it will become a Water Bottle and can be put in a Brewing Stand to be brewed into a potion.
When you click on air when it's raining you'll get Bottle of Rain Water.
