Name Tag is an item added by Minecraft. It can be found in loot chest, traded with a Villager or can be fished. The Name Tag can be renamed in an Anvil and can then be used to rename any mob (except the Ender Dragon) by right-clicking. However, the Name Tag will be consumed. Renamed mobs won't respawn.
