The Lapotron Crystal is an upgraded version of the Energy Crystal that can store up to 10,000,000 EU. However, as most devices are incapable of handling this power, only an MFSU or machines with 2 Transformer Upgrades can charge or discharge these crystals. The only machine in IndustrialCraft² that can use them by default is the Miner, but only with a config option enabled.

Unlike RE-Batteries, right-clicking with it does not recharge electric tools in the player's inventory.
