The Wrench is an item added by the IndustrialCraft2 mod.
A tool used to retrieve the mod's machines. Keep in mind that this wrench only works on IC2 machines, and cannot be used like the BuildCraft wrench which is used to turn things like Engines. To use the Wrench to remove a machine, simply "Right-click the machine [1]Any items or energy stored internally in the machine will be lost when it is dismantled. The Wrench's removing mechanic will override the machine's interface, so Do not hold a wrench when accessing a machine's GUI.
To dismantle a Transformer or a Storage Block Right-click its output or selected face, Right-clicking any other face will rotate the output to face the Player instead. Shift+Right-clicking will rotate to the opposite side.

Usage
Wrench (IndustrialCraft 2) can be used to create the following items:
Note
- ↑ Its right only for regular IndustrialCraft not Experimental. As the wrench has a 70 to 90% success rate, there is a small chance that the machine will not be successfully removed and may instead yield a Basic Machine Casing. Use an Electric Wrench on Lossless Mode to achieve a 100% removal success rate. In IC2 Experimental version Wrench usage failure is depreciated and both Wrench and Electric Wrench have 100% success rate. Storage machines will only lose ~20% of their stored energy when removed.
