The MV-Transformer is used to turn High Voltage Packets (512 EU/p) into Medium Voltage Packets (128 EU/p) and back. This is useful for powering advanced machines and for medium-range energy transport.
By default, the Transformer accepts 512 EU/t input on the three dotted side of the block and outputs 128 EU/p on each of the single dotted sides. A 512 EU/p or higher rated cable must be wired into the input face and 128 EU/p or higher rated cable must be wired into the other faces.
A Redstone signal may be applied to reverse the conversion, thereby emitting 512 EU/p from the output face (the 3-dotted one), and accepting 128 EU/p or lower from the input faces. In reverse operation, 512 EU/p or higher rated cable must be wired to the output face and any rate cable may be wired to the input faces.
It can handle a maximum of one transformation per tick, limiting the maximum transfer to 512 EU/t in either mode.
