Coal (GregTech 5 Material)

Coal is a material added by GregTech 5 mod.

Coal is a Steam-tier material, it has wide usage in the mod since very first machines the player creates.

Coal is the earliest and the easiest power source in the earlygame. It can be used in primitive blast furnaces (Bronze Plated Blast Furnace Bronze Plated Blast Furnace and Bricked Blast Furnace Bricked Blast Furnace) to process first metals.
At LV-tier coal is used to create Resistor which is one of the most common circuity components. Coal can be used to obtain Industrial Diamond by compressing it, and the same time Powderbarrel which is used to perform the said recipe requires Gunpowder which can also be crafted from coal and some other materials.

Coal can be processed in Electrolyzer at LV-tier to obtain Carbon which is used throughout the game in almost every aspect of it.

Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide are created from coal and used in many chemical recipes added by the mod.

Block of Coal can be turned into Solid Super Fuel and Magic Solid Super Fuel to be burned with very high efficiency.

There are several ways of obtaining this material.

Coal Ore is the easiest source and gives the most dust compared to other methods.
Lignite Coal Ore gives either tiny dust or dust as a byproduct on one or more stages of Ore Processing.
