Mekanism is a mod that provides several machines, some similar to IndustrialCraft² machines, that can use various types of power such as RF, EU or Universal Electricity.

It is featured in the Ampz Pack and Lapito's Galacticraft Pack.

It includes many different methods of energy generation, a method of doubling to quintupling ore output, a different method of making Steel, a very slight bit of magic, and several new tools! It is incompatible with IndustrialCraft² in most 1.6.4 or earlier versions of Minecraft, but is compatible with it in 1.7.10 due to fixed recipes and further compatibility fixes.

1.7.10 versions require CodeChickenCore and Forge Multipart as dependencies.
