Modest Hive is a block added by the Forestry mod. When mined with anything other than a Scoop, the hive will break and drop nothing. Desert Hives can be found in Desert biomes and some desert-like biomes from ExtrabiomesXL. Like all the other hives, Modest Hives emit a low level of light, and are therefore easier to spot during the night.
