The Alveary Sieve is a modifier block that can be part of an Alveary. Sieves require Woven Silk to function, and can only hold one at a time. While an Alveary has at least one functional Sieve, instead of pollinating as usual, each successful pollination attempt will instead generate Fertile Pollen in the Sieve, corresponding to the plant that was pollinated.
Each Sieve can hold 4 Fertile Pollen, and the Woven Silk is consumed upon taking the Pollen. Removing the Silk while Pollen is in the Sieve destroys the pollen, and breaking the Sieve itself destroys its contents. Adding more than one Sieve does not improve the rate of Pollen collection but it does raise the amount of Pollen that can be stored at once. Unlike other modifier blocks, Sieves cannot be automated, neither in the insertion of Silk or removal of Pollen.
