The Brew of Infection is an item added by the Witchery mod. It is a throwable potion that infects certain blocks and entities with worms. Hitting stone, stone brick, or cobblestone blocks with this potion infects the block with silverfish, hitting Villagers turns them into a Zombie Villager, and hitting any other mob or entity freezes them while they clear themselves of the worms.

Recipe

Wearing a Witches Hat and/or Robes while brewing will not give the player bonus brews -- the above recipe can only give three.
