The Ent is a mob from the Witchery mod. This mob does not spawn naturally, it must be forced into the world via slaughtering so many Alder, Hawthorn, and/or Rowan trees that a woodland spirit feels the requirement to animate a tree to try to protect any future trees from the horrible wood chopper.

When near a player they will flail in a tantrum and their eyes turn yellow as they attack the player.
