Wispy Cotton is an item added by the Witchery mod. It grows naturally in the Spirit World and can be obtained by harvesting the Wispy Cotton plant. However, if harvested during a nightmare, only Disturbed Cotton can be obtained. Wispy Cotton can only be farmed to grow more in the Spirit World OR on dirt or grass next to Flowing Spirit. Wispy Cotton spreads like mushrooms so just place it and give it time to grow more.
It is used in several recipes and can also be used to help lessen the chance of entering the Spirit World in a nightmare. Plant it in the Overworld where entering the Spirit World from, this is 10% per Wispy Cotton with 20% being the maximum.
Wispy Cotton stays in inventories when leaving the Spirit World.
