The Wolf Altar is an item added by the Witchery mod. It is used by werewolves as a means to communicate with the god who granted them their wolf abilities.

- The Wolf Heads and Hellhound Heads are interchangeable.
Quests
Once someone is cursed they can craft a Wolf Altar to pray to the wolf god that granted them this curse in order to fully master it. The wolf god grant quests: 30 Raw Lambchops, 10 Dog Tongues, the death of the Horned Huntsman, and to deal 10 critical hits.
Awaken the Wolf
This curse can also be spread in other ways, by using a wolftrap to trap a wolfman right in front of a Wolf Altar during a full moon will bless the werewolf into being able to spread its curse by bringing someone to near death.
