The Basic Mechanical Pipe is the entry-tier fluid transport pipe added by Mekanism. It carries any single fluid between Mekanism machines, Fluid Tanks and other fluid-aware blocks. Mechanical Pipes can be upgraded into Advanced Mechanical Pipes by crafting them with Enriched Alloy.

Pipes auto-connect to neighbouring pipes and to any block face that accepts fluid input or output. Connections can be toggled per side using a Configurator in pipe-configuration mode.
