The Basic Thermodynamic Conductor is a heat-transmitting cable added by the Mekanism mod and is the entry-level tier of four. Like other Mekanism transmitters, it forms a network when placed adjacent to other conductors and to any block that exposes Mekanism's heat capability (Resistive Heater, Fuelwood Heater, a Thermoelectric Boiler, and so on).
All four conductor tiers move heat between connected blocks at the same rate; the tiers differ only in how well they retain heat in transit. The Basic Thermodynamic Conductor uses an inverse-conduction-insulation value of 10 at default config, the lowest of the four, so a long run made entirely of Basic conductors will radiate noticeably more heat to the surrounding world than the higher-tier variants.
