The Augment: Space-Time Flux Unifier is an item added by the Thermal Expansion 4 mod.

An Augment is used to add functionality to machines. This Augment can only be used on Resonant tiered machines. It accelerates the processing speed by a factor of 8, but also causes the machine to use 150% more energy at 20 times the RF/t. For example, a Pulverizer typically works at 40 RF per tick, with the augment installed, it works at 800 RF/t.

To function, it requires the previous tier Augment: Overclocked Modular Gearbox to be installed. The effects do not stack, only the highest tier augment takes effect.
