The Augment: Flux Modulation Booster is an item added by the Thermal Expansion mod.

An Augment is used to add functionality to machines. This Augment is used with a Dynamo to multiply the speed of energy production by 4, at the cost of -25% base fuel efficiency. For example, with a single Redstone Dust an Enervation Dynamo produces 64,000 RF at 80 RF per tick, with the augment installed, it produces 48,000 RF at 320 RF/t.

To function, it requires the previous tier of augment to be installed: Augment: Secondary Transmission Coil. The effects do not stack, only the highest tier augment takes effect.
