The Personal Anchor is a block added by the Railcraft mod. It will keep a 3 × 3 area of chunks loaded to memory while consuming an Ender Pearl every 12 real time hours, but only while the owner player is online and only if the chunk (containing the anchor) was already loaded. It will not auto-load the chunk on server restarts. It deactivates in the presence of a Redstone signal. It can be used in conjunction with an Anchor Sentinel to change the shape into a line of chunks (variable 1-9 chunks long depending on sentinel placement).
A World Anchor coupled with a Sentinel can be used to keep a single chunk loaded which contains a Personal Anchor, so that whenever the owner logs in, the Personal Anchor loads additional chunks.
- Only active if the owner is currently logged into the game.
- Does not force load chunks, only prevents already loaded chunks from unloading.
- Requires Ender Pearls as fuel; default 12 hours of use each, stacks.
