Obsidian Dust is a dust added by the Railcraft mod. It is made primarily by putting Obsidian through a Rock Crusher, along with Crushed Obsidian. It is interchangeable with Pulverized Obsidian from Thermal Expansion however, so putting Obsidian in a Pulverizer might be an easier way if Crushed Obsidian is not also desired.
The only use of Obsidian Dust in Railcraft is in the crafting of Reinforced Rail in a Rolling Machine, but it may also be used for Hardened Glass instead of Pulverized Obsidian.
