The Lexica Botania is an item added by the Botania mod. An encyclopedia of everything Botania. All information about this mod is thoroughly documented within this book. It includes a Lexicon chapter with a search feature. Sections with important information on basic mechanics are indicated with titles in Italics. It can be found in Dungeon Chests (0.8% chance).
The title shown on the cover of the Lexica Botania can be changed by renaming the book in an Anvil. There are two versions of the Lexica Botania. The default version is obtained by crafting, while the upgraded version with Elven Knowledge added can be obtained by throwing the default book into the Portal to Alfheim. Elven Knowledge added to the book is indicated with titles in green.
Any block with an entry included in the Lexica Botania can be shift-right clicked while holding the book. This will open it to the page that entry is located on. The player can add up to 10 bookmarks, which will show on the left side of the book. Notes can also be added to any entry. Optional challenges can be found by clicking the cup icon at the lower left corner of the title page.
