Iron Dust is a type of dust added by GregTech 4. When GregTech is installed, GregTech's version of Iron Dust overrides the Iron Dust that is, by default, present in IndustrialCraft2. It also adds many new recipes that can be used to acquire Iron Dust and many new recipes that use Iron Dust.

- Macerating a Machine Frame returns Iron Dust x4
- Macerating a Machine Block returns Iron Dust x8
- Macerating Iron Armor and Tools from Vanilla returns Iron Dust x(amount of ingots used in crafting)
- Macerating an Iron Sickle returns Iron Dust x3
- Macerating a Screwdriver returns Iron Dust x1
- Macerating a Compass returns Iron Dust x4
- Macerating Shears returns Iron Dust x2
- Macerating a Minecart returns Iron Dust x5
- Macerating a Bucket returns Iron Dust x3
- Macerating an Iron Door returns Iron Dust x6
- Macerating an Iron Plate, an Iron Ingot or Refined Iron returns Iron Dust x1
