Olivine Dust is one of the dusts found in GregTech 4.
Production
There are a few different methods to produce olivine dust:
The most productive is to mine Olivine Ore. When processing it through an Industrial Grinder, you will get the equivalent of two and a half piles of olivine dust.
Olivine is rarely dropped from Emerald Ore blocks. A more reliable way to get Olivine is to put an emerald ore block in an Industrial Grinder, as a by-product to emerald is two tiny piles of olivine dust per ore block. This makes a full pile of dust per two ore blocks.
Another method is to process Basalt Dust in an Industrial Centrifuge. Sixteen blocks of basalt produce one pile of olivine dust.
Uses
Olivine Dust is the quickest way to get Magnesium Dust through Industrial Electrolyzer. Namely: 9 piles of olivine dust produces 2 piles of Magnesium Dust, 2 piles of Iron Dust, a Silicon Cell, and two Compressed Air Cells.
