Trivia[edit]
Desu Gun is a reference to the anime and light novel, Sword Art Online. "Desu Gun," or Death Gun, is the main antagonist of the second season of the anime. The sprite is modeled after a Type 54 Blackstar, Death Gun's pistol of choice.
This is one of many easter eggs to various forms of media within Botanica. Another notable reference to Sword Art Online is when a Manasteel Sword is renamed to "The Elucidator," which is an iconic sword within the series. The Elucidator is used by Kirito, the main protagonist in the series.
