Caustic Bees are the second species in the Caustic Branch added by Extra Bees. Their Acidic effect changes dirt into sand and cobblestone into gravel within the hive's working area.

Requirements

Pure Caustic Bees require a Warm or Hot Climate and Damp Humidity to start working, and at least one Jungle Flower - a vine or single-block fern.

Production

Caustic Bees produce Silky Combs (25% rate) and Brimstone Combs (3% rate) which can be processed in a Centrifuge. Their specialty comb will only be made in the preferred climate and can be turned into liquid Acid.
