Lifespan is a trait inherited by Bees which determines how long a Queen will live. Lifespan can be modified for the current generation only by using certain types of Frames. The number of bee cycles is determined by the lifespan, each cycle is 27.5 seconds. Lengthy lifespans are useful for pure production strains, requiring less monitoring or cycling, while short lifespans can be used for faster generational turnover or mass producing drones to feed a Genepool.

Bee Lifespans
This list shows a bee's lifespan with its normal genetic traits. These are the default traits for purebred bees. Cross-bred bees may have different traits inherited from the parental generation. Lifespan can be modified through selective breeding.
