Ruby Sword is a weapon added by Redpower 2. Like its Vanilla counterparts, it will deal melee damage and performs exactly like a Diamond Sword with respect to speed and enchant-ability, but with only 500 durability. Ruby Swords can be ground into two Ruby Dust and possibly Sawdust with a Macerator or Rock Crusher, but this will only work with undamaged tools. Since Rubies have alternate uses, they are not an ideal choice for crafting gem swords.
