The AND Gate is one of numerous blocks added by RedPower 2 that allows for far more compact wiring. The AND Gate will output a Redstone signal from its output face, the face with the tallest Redstone torch, if all of its enabled input faces are receiving a Redstone signal. By holding down the Shift key to crouch and right-clicking the gate with a Screwdriver, it is possible to selectively disable one of the three inputs, allowing for the AND Gate to output a signal if only two of the three input faces are receiving power from a Red Alloy Wire or other form of Redstone power.
