The RailCraft Charge Alternator is a block added by the Magneticraft mod. It generates Low Voltage Electricity using Railcraft Charge. It does not need a redstone signal and will convert incoming Charge to Low Voltage as long as there is incoming Charge and a need for Low Voltage. The RailCraft Charge Alternator holds 10,000C.
The RailCraft Charge Alternator has a Low Voltage side, that looks like the end of Low Voltage Cable and a Charge side that has a dark blue square. Currently, the RailCraft Charge Alternator will have the Low Voltage side facing the player when placed and can not be rotated with a Wrench, so it must be harvested with a pick and re-placed to re-position it. It can not be positioned facing up or down.
