The EU Alternator is a block added by the Magneticraft mod. It generates Low Voltage electricity from EU. It does not need a redstone signal and will convert incoming EU to Low Voltage as long as there is incoming EU and a need for Low Voltage. The EU Alternator accepts EU from IndustrialCraft2 and holds 32,000EU.
The EU Alternator has a Low Voltage side, that looks like the end of Low Voltage Cable and an EU side that has a white square. Currently, the EU Alternator will have the Low Voltage side facing the player when placed and can not be rotated with a Wrench, so it must be harvested with a pick and re-placed to re-position it. It can not be positioned facing up or down.
