The Kinetic Generator is a block added by the Magneticraft mod. It generates Redstone Flux (RF) using Medium Voltage electricity. It does not need a redstone signal and will convert incoming Medium Voltage to RF as long as there is incoming energy and a demand for RF. The Kinetic Generator outputs RF to most mods, produces up to 400 RF/t and holds 32,000RF.
The Kinetic Generator has a Medium Voltage side, that looks like the end of Medium Voltage Cable and an RF side that has a red X. Currently, the Kinetic Generator will have the Medium Voltage side facing the player when placed and can not be rotated with a Wrench, so it must be harvested with a pick and re-placed to re-position it. It can also be positioned facing up or down.
