The Inserter Upgrade: Drop Items To Ground is an item added by the Magneticraft mod. It can be placed in any of the top right 4 slots in an Inserter's GUI and, as the name implies, the Inserter will drop items on the ground. The Inserter will not drop objects into anything but an inventory, like a chest or machine input, or a Conveyor Belt without this upgrade installed.
