Dark Plate is an armor item added by the EnderIO mod. It is crafted from Dark Steel and has more durability than a Diamond Chestplate.

It can be upgraded at an anvil using a Vibrant Crystal to become empowered. Once empowered the item will gain energy storage and grant the protection level of diamond armor. As long as the item is charged, half the durability damage will be absorbed from the power. Empowering the item also opens up further upgrades.

Dark Plate has no known uses in crafting.

Upgrades

Some upgrades may not be available if their complementary mod is not installed. Upgrades with multiple levels like Empowered require the previous level, if any, to already be present. Holding Shift over a compatible Dark Steel item will show its possible Dark Steel Anvil upgrades.
