The Stencil is an item added by the OpenBlocks mod.

It is used to paint shapes onto surfaces of supported blocks and onto a Canvas using a Paint Brush. A stencil is using a Drawing Table by cutting a shape out of an Unprepared Stencil [1]

When placed on a block, a stencil can be rotated or removed by Right-clicking or Shift+Right-clicking it with an empty hand, respectively. Any paint applied through a Stencil will be completely opaque.
