These hives contain Rocky Bees (princesses and/or drones). Like all hives, they can be harvested with a Scoop, Thaumium Scoop, or one of several machines. Harvesting them with a hand, pick, or other tool will result in the hive dropping nothing. The hive block itself cannot be collected normally, but grabbing it with a portal gun and placing it on a torch will cause it to drop as a block. Rock Hives are the only source of Rocky Bees, and which are usually buried in stone underground.
