The Steam Heater is a machine added by Professor Flaxbeard's Wondrous Steam Power Mod. Steam Heaters are used to power Furnaces.
A Steam Heater has to be placed next to the Furnace block. A Pipe has to deliver Steam to the Heater. The Steam Heater can then heat up the Furnace, making it process items without fuel. The more Steam Heaters that are attached to a Furnace, the faster it works, although the speed is capped at four heaters to allow for automation. The Steam Heater consumes 2 Steam Units per tick.
The Steam Heater also has the ability to steam various food products, which heal slightly more than their cooked counterparts.

Now I can power furnaces using steam power, using this nifty steam heater.
Steam heats the copper coils and allows a furnace to smelt without fuel. More heaters will smelt faster but use more steam.

- While the Steam Heater's Esteemed Innovation entry claims that it works more slowly than a normal furnace in older versions of FSM, this is not true.
