The Moonstone Ore is a block added by Ars Magica 2. The Ore does not generate underground like most ore, instead it falls from the sky on the surface of the world. When mined, the block will yield a Moonstone which can be used in various crafting recipes. These Moonstone Ore 'meteors' will only fall within a 32 block radius from the Player when they reach level 10 (modifiable in config file). When mined with a Fortune III tool, it will drop 2 to 4 Moonstones. if Blood Magic is installed doing the Ritual Mark of the Falling Tower with a nether star will spawn Moonstone Ore even if the player doesn't met the level requirement.
