Chrome dust is a rare dust used to craft Chrome Ingots used in some of the advanced recipes.
Production
Chrome dust is produced as a by-product in two of the Industrial Centrifuge/Industrial Electrolyzer recipes.
The main source is Ruby Dust.
It can also be obtained from:
- Uvarovite Dust (which you get from Yellow Garnet Dust). However, the productivity is low as it requires to mine 448 Sphalerite Ore blocks to get just 2 piles of Chrome Dust. (448 Sphalerite Ore-> 112 Yellow Garnet Dust -> 21 Uvarovite Dust, 20 Uvarovite Dust-> 2 Chrome Dust)
- Netherrack: Netherrack -> Netherrack Dust -> Redstone -> Ruby Dust. It takes 16 x 10 x 9 = 1440 Netherrack to make one Chrome dust.
