The Powered Lantern is a block added by Immersive Engineering. The Powered Lantern provides light when supplied with LV RF (using a LV Wire Coil). Light level is equivalent to a Glowstone block, the brightest light level in the game. The Powered Lantern also prevents hostile mobs from spawning within a 32 block radius.

The Powered Lantern uses 2 RF/t and can be used as a relay, allowing for other LV Wire Coils to connect to the Powered Lantern to power other Powered Lanterns, Floodlights, or machines. The LV Wire Coil can be removed from a Powered Lantern by using the Engineer's Wire Cutters, it will disconnect all LV Wire Coils.
