The Speed Boost is a modular upgrade used for the Router from Factorization. It increases the speed at which the Router processes items by removing the Router's delay when dealing with multiple machines or chests.
To apply the upgrade to the Router, hold the sneak-key (Shift by default) and right-click the Router with the Speed Boost in your hand. The Speed Boost will then be applied to the Router. A new button will appear next to the Insert/Extract slot which will show the upgrade. It is not possible to apply multiple Speed Boost upgrades to one Router.
