Amplified Redcrystal is a block added by the Automagy 1 mod. It is a special form of Redcrystal that allows the player to transport the redstone signal for a long distance. It will maximize the signal to 15 and output it from the side with the light crystal, the maximized signal will remain 15 for 35 blocks if transferred by Redcrystals before lowering to 14. It can only receive the signal from the opposite side.

"When this type of redcrystal receives a redstone signal, it outputs a full-strength signal in the specified direction. If other redcrystal is used to pass the signal along, then its effective strength will remain 15 for many more blocks before it decays to 14 strength, at which point it will fall by one each tile as is normal for redstone signals.
Dim redcrystal is an exception to this rule as it will reduce the signal strength to 14 or below immediately.
Amplified redcrystal will only receive a signal from the side opposite to its output."
