Airy Comb is a type of comb added by the Magic Bees mod. It mainly serves to make Air Shards a renewable resource and has a secondary product of Magic Wax. It is produced by the Aura Bee, a bee created by binding an Air Shard, 24 of the Motus Aspect and 40 of the Aura aspect to a Stark Bee in an Infusion Altar. Airy Combs only exist in conjunction with Thaumcraft 3; Thaumcraft 4 uses the Windy Comb instead.
