Wand Focus: Experience is an item added by the Thaumic Bases 1 mod. This wand focus allows the caster to destroy blocks, liquids and mobs to obtain the experience from them. Each block destroyed will give the caster 1 XP. Each mob destroyed by this focus will give 3x its current health of xp, but the cast cost will multiply by its current health. This focus can be enchanted with Decomposing and Vaporising in 3rd and 5th slots. Only one of these enchantments can be applied. Without Decomposing the focus will not be able to destroy mobs. With Vaporising destroyed blocks will drop Crystallized Essence. Each cast costs 5

"The only ways of enchanting for a regular thaumaturge is either by using his own life essence to roll the dices or by using the infusion matrix to controll the process. Either way some life essence is required. The most efficent way of collecting it is by... killing mobs? Mining? You think, that thaumaturgy must offer something else, more 'magical'. And this is it. This foci will instantly break the block it is used on, providing a thaumaturge with twice the experience the block would usually drop! Blocks, which usually do not provide experience will drop some based on the Potency level of the foci.
Decomposing Upgrade:
Available at levels 3 and 5, this upgrade will allow a thaumaturge to instantly decompose any living entity into experience, based on the creature's current HP. The aspect cost is also based on the creature's HP. Note, that the absorbed creature will still drop the regular drops and experience.
Level II decreases the cost for consuming creatures to half.
Conflicts with the Vaporizing upgrade!
Vaporizing Upgrade:
Available at levels 3 and 5, this upgrade will make consumed blocks also drop some Crystallized Essentia based on the block's aspects. Drop chance is 50%. Some very essentia-rich blocks will not drop it.
Level II increases the chance of obtaining a Crystallized Essentia to 100%
Conflicts with the Decomposing upgrade!"
