Node Manipulator Focus: Destruction is an item added by the Thaumic Bases 1 mod. This focus can be applied to Aura Node to downgrade its brightness by 1 level, transforming Bright Aura Node into Normal, Normal into Pale, Pale into Fading and destroying Fading. This focus can be applied during the process of Node Manipulation.

"Destruction foci will slowly destroy the node it is attached to. It will turn bright nodes into normal, normal into pales, pales into fading and will completely destroy fading nodes. On the other hand Vis from the node being destroyed will escape into surroundings in the form of Aspect Orbs, which can be absorbed by any wand. Vis escapes much faster than regulary."
