This machine is primarily used to pump water into machines, but can pump other liquids as well. It is advised to place this machine over a 3x3 or 4x4 water pool instead of a 2x2, because it might be able to drain the 2x2. To connect the pump to machines, simply connect Liquid Pipes from the pump to the machine.

"The pump will, when provided with power, will suck up liquids from the surrounding area and pump them into pipes, for transport to a machine that can use it. Water is often used as coolant, while lava is more often pumped to a Resevoir for convenient access or as fuel to some engines."

This machine can be fully powered by one DC Electric Engine, although it is necessary to use a gearbox to convert the DC Electric Engine's base 4 Nm torque to the required 8 Nm for the pump.
