The Engineer's Skyhook is an item added by Immersive Engineering mod. This item can be used to latch onto an Immersive Engineering cable and ride the cable similar to a zip-line.
To use the Engineer's Skyhook, a user has to stand beneath the cable, click (and hold) the right mouse button on the cable to connect and traverse the cable, and then release the mouse button to let go of the cable.
To use the skyhook, player should place HV Wire Relays at the start and end points where one wants to travel and then place a Steel Cable Coil between them. This can be achieved the same way as connecting points for a Water Wheel generator. Then, after right-clicking the Relay with Skyhook player will hold one on the cable.
