The Energy Input is a module added by Engineer's Toolbox that will accept Redstone Flux energy in and store it in the Modular Socket's internal energy storage.
The Modular Socket has a default energy storage of 5,000 RF. This can be greatly increased with Energy Storage Upgrades or Advanced Energy Storage Upgrades.
To supply the Modular Socket with IndustrialCraft2 or BuildCraft power, a EU Adapter or MJ Adapter can be used respectively.
