"You have found a way to harness the knowledge you have gained from researching tainted lands. You have discovered a way to summon small taintacles to aid you in combat, similarily to the large taintacles you have found in your travels.
Wearing this ring in one of your ring slots activates this effect. Any time that you take damage and are on solid land, a small taintacle will sprout, attacking nearby foes."
